Vlog 6 – Why I am on Windoze se7en

Jun 29, 2011   //   by admin   //   Blog, Team Blue vLog, Video Production  //  No Comments

This may come as a surprise to some (especially after my huge Hackintosh post back in February!) But I am actually back on Windows 7. This video explains why. Please don’t let this deter you, the build is awesome, reliable, efficient, and fun.

The short of it? RAM issue. God damn RAM! Drove me crazy!!! Anyways, take it easy. I’ll be thinking about you :>

Happy Fathers Day

Dad, you have taught me so many things: from working with the smallest screwdriver to the biggest powertools, from inventing my own little play areas (the cardboard cars I’d make!), to having the utmost desire and longing to create a business and be an entrepreneur. You have pushed me so hard and in so many ways that I don’t know where I’d be without you.

I hope you have the greatest day and year ever for years to come. I cannot wait for when we all live a street or two away from each other so we can have our big ‘ol outdoor dinners together and our “loungin-in-the-backyard” summers.

So I made this video for you, ENJOY!

Hit that Full Screen Button and crank up your sound!!!

I Love You more than you know, Happy Fathers Day!!
Matthew and Asha

Oh yeah, and Mom was a life saver in providing a lot of these photos and Asha just for being in my life. We both love you guys!!!

VLOG 3 – Color Grading and Sound Effects

May 19, 2011   //   by admin   //   Blog, Internet Marketing, Team Blue vLog, Tutorials, Video Production  //  No Comments

Hey all! Want to be a coloring geek? I have been getting a lot of requests lately for input on proper color grading in Premiere Pro. If you don’t use Premiere Pro, you can use these steps in Final Cut Pro as well! (In fact that’s where I learned). I also included a short tutorial on how adding simple sound effects and music can make or break a clip…and how to incorporate the right kind of sound into your products for clients with an emphasis on internet marketing!

If you aren’t a video editor this will probably bore you. If you hire video editors you’ll see what you are putting us through every DAY!

My recommendations:
Video Copilot has an amazing assortment of royalty free music called “Pro Scores”. This is more for movies and such but adding them to your internet marketing videos will make them literally “epic” and down right awesome.

For awesome color grading software check out: Magic Bullet Looks. AWESOME software with 1 touch color grading that will blow your socks off! (I use it all the time and will definitely do a tutorial on it!)

I don’t get paid for any of these endorsements…so if you like the products enough, why not just send me a check for $50? Love you…

Team Blue.

Finally Got Around to it…VLOG 1!

Okay okay, so I jumped on the band wagon a little late. But actually…it’s more of a lazy issue. I’ve been wanting to get into the vLog game for a while but never thought my life was all that interesting. I came to the realization that this is how most people feel about their own lives, since they live it every day! But from the outside perspective, those who see only a miniscule part of your life, find that it is the most interesting thing in the world, mainly because it’s different then theirs! Read More »
